Fisker Karma validation fleet

When I worked at Fisker Automotive, a call went out to all employees: the test team needed help putting miles on cars and validating new software builds. I volunteered so frequently that eventually I was put in charge of the small test fleet of cars.

I spent many evenings driving Karmas around southern California, eventually racking up 12,000 miles between Malibu, San Diego, Big Bear, and Las Vegas. These photos were taken on those drives and around the office. Fisker Automotive eventually went out of business - I was laid off in late 2012 - but I enjoyed the experience and these cars hold a special place in my heart. Every single drive was an occasion and I was a de facto brand spokesperson every time I stopped for gas.
